With roots in India,“kirtan” is an age-old call-and response, participatory singing experience. Devaa & her crew put together chants from many different traditions, honoring the divine spark in each. In addition to more traditional Kirtan songs, Devaa will also offer new, upbeat devotional songs she's written that are part of her forthcoming Sacred Alchemy album, due later this spring. Her album and her songs celebrate the feminine spirit from diverse traditions, including Tara, Pele, Kali, Isis, Mary Magdalene, Shekinah and MORE!
